Molly Kessler is a comedy writer, performer and illustrator originally from Nashville, TN.

She was a performer with The Second City in Chicago as well as a long-form improvisor on teams at iO and the Den Theater. While in Chicago, she cofounded the comedy duo Hysterical Fiction and the all-female sketch troupe Bevvy Comedy, spearheading the writer’s room in both.

More recently, she has been published in McSweeney’s, Reductress, Slackjaw, Humor Darling, and more. And her comedic illustrations can be found on Etsy, as well as in her illustrated gift book Everyone Poops (Except For You, Because You’re Stressed).

Molly currently performs in a monthly sketch comedy show at the Pack Theater in LA with her team Corduroy.

She will be survived by her dog, Oscar.
